Book Blogger Holiday Swaps

December is my favorite time of year – I love everything about the holiday season, from decorating the house to shopping for gifts for loved ones to baking yummy holiday treats, plus my birthday also happens to be during this time! I saw a few blogs mentioning some holiday goings-on, so I decided to check them on.

I am participating in the Book Blogger Holiday Swap for the first time. The holiday swap is a way for book bloggers to connect and celebrate the holiday spirit by sharing gifts. It’s done secret Santa style; all of the participants are randomly assigned a blogger to send a gift to, and these assignments are kept secret until the gift has been delivered. So no one knows who their gift is coming from! It’s open internationally, but you can also choose to send a gift to someone within your own country.

Sign up here. Closes November 14.

I also signed up for the Book Bloggers Holiday Card Exchange, hosted by Anastasia at Birdbrain(ed) Book Blog. Don’t think you can swing mailing gifts across the country or globe? Or just want another way to spread holiday cheer? How about sending a card? The twist is that the card has to include something bookish – a story, recommendation, or even a book-ish themed card.

Sign up here. Closes November 11.

I’m really exited to find out who I’ve been paired with for both of these swaps and hope to discover some awesome bloggers!
