The Persepolis books are marvelous, and great intros to the Islamic Revolution in Iran — I read those two in tandem with Reading Lolita in Tehran and Funny in Farsi (a memoir about an Iranian family in CA during the '70s).
Looking forward to your review on Reading Lolita in Tehran!

I love Carly Phillips' books. I haven't read this one yet, though.
