Book Blogger Hop 7.9.10

It’s that time again…. time for the weekly Book Blogger Hop!  Brought to you by Jennifer at Crazy For Books, this is a fun way to get to know other book bloggers.

This week’s question:  Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

This is a tough question because there are so many authors that I love. If I had to choose just a few they would be:

  • James Patterson because his books are always so exciting and quick
  • Philippa Gregory because she turned me on to historical fiction with her Tudor series
  • Nora Roberts because she writes great series- I am especially loving her Bridal Quartet series
  • Luanne Rice because her books really delve into the relationships between mothers and daughters, sisters, and friends.

Again, there are so many authors that I enjoy but these are the ones that I can always count on when I am low on books (not that that happens too often!).

What about you?

If you stop by, please let a comment so I can come visit you!

Happy Reading 🙂

Hi. I'm stopping by on the Hop. James Patterson appears to be popping up all over the place! I'll have to read him. I always want to start with an author's first work; but that's not always necessary—or recommended. Have a great weekend.

Oh I also love Nora Roberts! I want to go visit her bookstore up north one day soon! I haven't read her bridal series yet but hope to soon. I've heard lots of great things about it.

Thanks for stopping by For the Love of Reading. I actually have heard wonderful things of James Patterson, but I have yet to read any of his books. I do have one on the shelf, but there were so many before it. Although, eventually the library is going to want it back. Guess I'm going to need to get that out and read! Thanks for the motivation to do so! If you get a chance, you can also stop by my personal book blog In the Closet With a Bibliophile. I love your set up. I'll be following to see what you post next. Happy Hopping!
